I have been drawing and wood craving for many years as a hobby. I started taking drawing and painting classes in 2015 when hand surgery limited my carving abilities.

Much of my painting today consists of plien aire landscapes.

I enjoy painting local scenes along the Spokane River, Mt. Spokane, Palouse and Heyburn Park. More recently Frenchman’s Coulee Columbia River Gorge and the Oregon coast. I also enjoy painting urban landscapes,  city scenes and construction sites. My current work is in oils and watercolors. I have been building my own frames including milling the mounding.

I have been working on a website with help of my niece. Like painting, it’s a work in progress.
