As a classically trained Oil Painter since 2006, Kasiah Sword love painting light and experimenting with texture to capture the colors, mood, and feel of a place.

Often described as "Whimsically Fine Nuevo Impressionism", Kasiah Sword has shown from Moscow, ID (2008-14), Chicago, IL (2019), to Joseph, OR (2018,22,23,24), and Palouse, WA (2014 to present), with a variety of spaces in between.

Drawing inspiration from the landscape, wilderness areas, cities, and our ever-changing perception of what is "Normal". Sword's works aspire to evoke the feeling of the impressionist Masters but with a modern twist. Cultivating a reverence for our Natural World and the ecosystems of which we are a part.
