Kelsey Harrington - Main Street Artwalk

Kelsey is an incoming senior BFA student at the University of Idaho primarily working with clay, prints, and paint. Much of her current work dives into feelings of comfort and vibrancy, while bringing surreal themes and unreal creatures into the mix.

It becomes more comfortable to deal with more complex emotions with simpler concepts to compare them to or make them feel less daunting. These creatures and figures that pop up often into her work comes from a wanting to take a step back from emotions such as fear, death, and loneliness, looking at them from afar and bringing a curious little friend into the picture.
