Andy Peltier - Main Street Artwalk

Second year showing in Palouse Art Walk. Last year I showed photography. This year, I am showing three larger scale acrylic paintings of Palouse landscapes. The farmland shown is within view of our house and subject of many photos in assorted weather conditions. Part of my intent was to start the paintings in a loose way and develop tighter images. Some of the loose paint has been left in as large unexplained anomalies in the sky as well as abnormalities in the ground surface. These can be interpreted by the viewer in a number of representational ways, or at least seem to show some sort of phenomenological event in progress. Enjoy this year's show!
